I wish I never knew about Terry Bollea

I wish I never knew the name Terry Bollea.
I wish Hulk Hogan had remained the way I remembered him as a child, wearing yellow spandex undies, boots, and a bandana with red lettering. I wish he had remained an advocate for Hulkamaniacs the world over, encouraging us to eat healthy, exercise, and take our vitamins.
Instead, I’m faced with the reality that Terry Bollea is a money-grubbing media whore with zero self respect (is less than zero possible on that chart? Negative infinity?). I have to wake up to the realization that Terry Bollea pimps out his “Wife” and kids to the public.
Terry Bollea is a jerk. Any man who says a car accident victim “Had it coming” when he was SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT is a Megajerk.
All those years, as a child, buying into those 22-inch pythons, bought with steroids … all those years, believing he was a patriot and a good guy … I guess I should’ve realized what he was when he became Hollywood Hogan, but I was older then. I thought it was just part of the wrestling game.
Now, in his old age, instead of becoming a Mr. Rogers-type father figure, he chose to become a prostitute. And his son, Nick (I wish I never knew him, either), gladly pulls on the garters as well.
Terry and Nick have no shame. They don’t know the meaning of the word shame. They are MEDIA SLUTS.
I am disillusioned and disgusted. I transliterate to free my soul of this burden.

i still dont know about Terry Bollea –
and i aim to keep it that way.
dont even tell me who it is or how this relates to hulk hogan because between reality tv shows, and the media chasing around celebrities with drug problems im much happier not knowing anything that people are talking about.
i mostly dont watch tv, and wont watch any news or “reality” tv.
its how i stay “sane”.
sometimes while standing on line at publix ill just stare at some tabloid cover informing me of which celebrities have put on weight, gone into rehab, gone on a drunken tirade, or is getting a divorce and i just think to myself…
who cares?
i dont know these people, nor do i feel the need to see any embarrassing photos of them.
the people who buy these rags or keep up with the latest gossip about these overpaid people are bottom feeders.
they are plankton.
they are making this kind of “journalism” profitable.
so then the media just churns more of it out like some kind of mind-pollution.
the whole culture we live in is sick and stupid.
best to just ignore it all.
just throw the tv out the window like some drug crazed rock star in a hotel room and be done with it.
do this and youll thank yourself later.

I was a Hulkmaniac when I was in grade school. I hated when Ted DiBiase and Andre the Giant cheated to end his first title reign on Feb 5th on The Main Event (even though I already had advance warning via wrestling phone line). I was hurt when the Ulimate Warrior beat him cleanly for the first time at WrestleMania VI.
I truly believed in saying my prayers, working out, and taking my vitamins.
THEN…I started to listen to actual stories from Hogan’s co-workers and other people he screwed over, I read the Wrestling Observer, PW Torch, and autobiographies…my eyes were opened, and my hero was shattered.
I hate unhealthy Enneagram Type 3’s. Separating truth from fiction is impossible with them; everything is about their image.
Hogan would do anything for money and anything to stroke his ego. He’s sick.
Yeah, Terry is not totally bad…no one is. I have some positive stories about him, too. But he just won’t give UP and retire to a nice quiet life.
In the 1980’s he ruled wrestling, and Roger Clemens and Jose Canseco ruled baseball.
Now look at them.
I agree with RAW…who cares about media sluts? They will all burn in Hell.
