And now, Angel Jimenez:
I don’t understand why everyone is against the bailout plan. This is going to help everybody.
First of all, the government helping everyone get homes is a good thing. The government provides other essential services like education to everybody. That has helped level the playing field.
This bill will do the same for home ownership.
This bill also protects innocent people who bought two or three homes during the housing bubble. This will help them keep their credit scores high and safe, and reduce bankruptcies.
Smart people are a small part of the population. Like Spock said, “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” Smart people need to sacrifice some “Freedom” for the sake of the average and below-average intelligence people here in America and around the world.
Years from now, our descendents will thank us. They won’t even understand what the hubbub was all about. They’ll laugh about all the people who were against this, and couldn’t see the good future to come.
