DailySkew Guest Editorial: Number Two Officially Endorses….
… Barack Obama.
This has everything to do with making history. His victory will be the symbolic completion of our journey towards racial equality. The souls of Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr. will finally be able to rest in peace.
The petty squabbles of the moment are irrelevent … and most of us sense that. This is our moment for our generation to break free from the sins of our ancestors. It is our moment to absolve ourselves and take the next step in the cultural evolution of America … and the world.
It is time, “My friends,” to unite under one messenger who has been chosen for this time and space to save us from the insanity of the moment.
Even McCain senses this … that is why he has begged his more ardent followers to tone down the rhetoric against Obama. He knows, for the good of the nation, the world, and the UNIVERSE, that he must lose this election.

That’s nearly double the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq over the same time period. In May, cbs2chicago.com began tracking city shootings and posting them on Google maps. Information compiled from our reporters, wire service reports and the Chicago Police Major Incidents log indicated that 125 people were shot and killed throughout the city between the start of Memorial Day weekend on May 26, and the end of Labor Day on Sept. 1. According to the Defense Department, 65 U.S. soldiers were killed in combat in Iraq. About the same number were killed in Afghanistan over that same period. In the same time period, an estimated 247 people were shot and wounded in the city. there can never be a "best ever" in anything. Too much opinion, too many styles, etc.
If you are a seasoned fan of anything, I honestly believe you can't ever pick a "best ever" just because of your sheer knowledge and appreciation of the subject.
Anyhow, I'd vote for Brian K Vaughan, Mark Millar & Jeph Loeb.
