LDOTR: Vote!
I'm sure a lot of the people waiting in line were inspired to vote after yesterday's 30 minute speech by President-elect Obama. He offered the message people want to hear; he's going to liberate us from high gas prices, expensive groceries, and costly medical bills.
Obama is.
Today, Rush echoed Damian's post about the speech, saying things like, "Yes, Americans do get arthritis," and to the Sanchez family, "Worried about milk prices? Lay off the Pepsi! Cut back on the Coca Cola!"
Rush - you can't stop the inevitable. The reason you have no gut feeling for this election is that you are in denial about Obama's impending victory.

I just voted myself,
2 and a half hour wait (not too bad), a whole lot of people voting.
I drove to hollywood and the lines were around the block so I left and went to hallandale.
I saw NO McCain T-shirts or buttons, but plenty of Obama stuff.
Last I heard 6% undecided in Fla.
but is anybody really undecided at this point?
Cmon.
I think the "undecideds" are just closet McCainiacs who dont wnat to argue their politics publicly.
who knows what will happen?
thje polls have been very wrong before, they could be wrong again now.
I stopped trusting the media a while back.
Nothing can be taken for granted.
The future when it comes to the outcome of elections is,as always unpredictable.
and its not the "LDOTR" as you keep saying.
because the talk radio hosts are going to squeeze out a hysterical loaf if Obama wins, so its only just the begining.
Remember how they all acted after clinton won.
The numerous accusations around clinton were a cottage industry to the likes of limbaugh and the other clones.
like I said, only just the begining.
the first accusation will be that "the dems stole the election !", and "voter fraud".
the script is already written, just waiting to go.
I was hoping you'd forget to vote.
The real question is do you think John McCain will remember to show up to the polls and vote for himself?
wouldnt it be great if he filled out the ballot wrong and accidentally voted for Obama by mistake?
but he doesnt realize it until the paper he voted on is going thru the scan machine, and he says, " uh ... wait"
but something dings and its too late, he accidentally voted against himself.
and then the whole election is decided after a hand recount and Obama wins by one vote, and it was the one McCain cast.
and it ends up in the news, and both phil hendrie and saturday night live do bits about it.
Man, that would just be the best.
I hope thats what happens.
I must suggest that it will actually be better for Rush and other extreme right wingers if Obama wins. Their careers have been floundering for 7 years now, while Air America (the extreme liberals) took to the airwaves, and [even more] got popular.
Yap, Obama = tons of material for those guys.

The Obama campaign has decided to heave out three newspapers from its plane for the final days of its blitz across battleground states -- and all three endorsed Sen. John McCain for president!
The NY POST, WASHINGTON TIMES and DALLAS MORNING NEWS have all been told to move out by Sunday to make room for network bigwigs -- and possibly for the inclusion of reporters from two black magazines, ESSENCE and JET, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Despite pleas from top editors of the three newspapers that have covered the campaign for months at extraordinary cost, the Obama campaign says their reporters -- and possibly others -- will have to vacate their coveted seats so more power players can document the final days of Sen. Barack Obama's historic campaign to become the first black American president.
