  • Comment on Racist Dixie Flag flying in Tampa by Damiac-99
Very controversial. Ya gotta be a Southern Boy to appreciate Dixie- they will tell you that it's an American military symbol with no political overtones. Obviously, I feel the same way you do- I see the CSA wanting slavery and weakening the Union- literally having a desire to destroy the U.S., which would have made us weaker in the World Wars (alternate […]

Savage Quote of the Day

On McCain needing to show some fire in tonight’s debate: “He doesn’t have any fire in his belly. He’s got mayonnaise in the belly. White bread and mayonnaise.”

***

Slightly off-topic — I listened to Rush carry McCain’s oh-so-heavy water. Whew! That was some hard work for Rush today, basically trying to win the debate for McCain on his radio show.

***

Another thought — I am sick of the comparisons between Palin and Reagan. Besides the fact that they have different personalities, different backgrounds, different sexes, different ages … Palin is NOT a great communicator. Sorry.

Palin reminds me of the Empress Air II character Damian and I created for the Tashman fiction stories. A majority of Americans will not be voting for Empress Air II over Obama.

***

Getting back to the topic: I totally agree with Savage. There will be no miracle tonight. Rush was truly grasping at straws. It was pathetic.

I’ll take it one step further — if McCain has the courage to name names — Freddie Mac execs names … Congressional names … Bill Ayers … Rezco … if he is willing to treat Obama they way he would treat any candidate, I promise to vote for him.

Don’t worry R.A.W. — he won’t name names.

I can’t wait to see that Obama cabinet — WOOOOOOooooooooh….

    Hi, Tony, I’m Joe BIDEN.

And I will be taking over the cabinet meetings.

Thank you, and GOD BLESS AMERICA.

It’s amazing to me how all the right-wing political bloggers, talking heads, and TV commentators talked about what McCain should say tonight.

  3. r.a.w. says:

Thanks for the link, and Im not worried about that stuff.

Really i wish somebody would bring that up because thats easy for Obama to respond to.

I know how Obama would handle that,
I can almost hear it now…

    (waviness)

“Folks Ive already adreesed these issues before.
but they still bring up Tony Resko, William Airs, lepel pins, its.. its unbeleivable.

but you see how they are, they wanna talk about these other things
and I wanna talk to the american people about how were gonna create jobs that pay money and getting their kids into college and being able to afford the tuition, and being able to afford your skyrocketing health care costs, and creating alternative energy resources for the twenty-first century, but ya see, theyd rather talk about these other things…”

    etc.

thats exactly the way he’d handle it.
    hes a pro.

    not worried about that stuff.
