9/12 March on Washington

I clicked on Drudge Report to see if there were any News Flashes! from the 9/12 March on Washington … as of Noon, there were no reports.

However, I did find the top links of interest. Apparently, on Friday Night, the White House announced:

- they’re giving in North Korea and abandoning the six-party talks. I guess that means we’re negotiating directly with Kim Jong?

- they want verification that illegals don’t receive healthcare benefits. I’m cool with that.

- the Census bureau has fired ACORN. That video really did the job! So Republicans CAN do grassroots activism, too. See? Let’s hope the whining from the right about not having MEDIA on their side subsides. Doubt it, but one can hope.

- they’re putting tariffs on Chinese Tires. To me, this is a salvo in a potential trade war. I believe, in macro-economic terms, this will be good for U.S. manufacturing. It may HURT, in micro-economic terms, the little guy like you and me … we may see fewer cheap goods and less selection and higher prices … and this may take decades to play out … but overall, I’ll take it.

I tuned into Fox News just to see how the 9/12 March on Washington was going. The fair and balanced talking head told me that there were “10′s of thousands” of people in D.C., covering three or four blocks.

HAHAHA. Whatever. MAJOR defeat for talk radio.

Obama is going to see this and turn off his AM radio. He may even retract some of the bones he’s tossed to conservatives. The census bureau may rehire ACORN.
