Lloyd Lindsay Young

If any of you remember WOR TV back in the 1980's, then you know Lloyd Lindsey Young, the zany weather guy who would start each forecast with a loud "hellooooooo!" to someone in the audience who sent in a letter to him.

While surfing Internet Radio, I found Mr. Young doing weather on a morning news show out of San Francisco — KGO AM radio. I searched him and found he's the head meteorologist at one of the TV stations, too.

It's funny, because his voice sounds like a veteran performer now … I remember when he was a rookie. As RAW said on yesterday's Podcast, "Where does the time go?"
