Nadil Hasan
In case you missed it, some Major jerk named Nadil Hasan decided to make the lives of Muslims in the U.S. a living HELL by killing 13 soldiers and wounding dozens of others — all of whom were about to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq.
I truly can't blame the MEDIA and FBI for having to scrutinize Muslims after this shooting … I would expect the same if a white Christian named Joe did the same thing. It just sucks, since this fool was probably a lone delusional nut who snapped.
Since Nadil Hasan was a psychiatrist, I suspect he was an unhealthy intelligent fellow who stared into the infinity well one too many times … in other words, as he battled monsters, he became one.
The military needs to do a better job of screening out people with, uh, issues. Don't give me the standard, "He was a nice guy, I had no idea he was capable of this" line. The military are supposed to be professionals when it comes to stuff like this.
I hope he lives to suffer through a military trial and brutal jail time. Death is too good for "Dr." Hasan.
I just heard that "Dr." Hasan suffered racial abuse on BBC. Aaawwww. Not buying the lame justification. The vast majority of people who experience racism choose nonviolence, not murder.
