Heineken Breathalyzer iPhone App

If you’ve got an iPhone and you like the to party, you have to Download the Heineken Breathalyzer iPhone app today from the iTunes store. It’s a free app that is part hilarious and part socially conscious.
With the app, you can help your drinking buddies and party-going friends know when they’ve had one too many alcoholic beverages. Just have him or her blow into the iPhone, and a picture will come up showing what type of character they have transformed into after drinking too much! The characters, such as The Crier or The Stumbler are funny enough to get your pal’s attention, and serious enough to get them to turn over the car keys. I imagine it would be like looking in the mirror, or having cold water splashed on my face unexpectedly.
I am glad that Heineken has taken the time to create this app. It’s great to see a beer manufacturer that cares about their customers and are looking for modern, innovative ways to reach out to them, helping them to stay alive.
Also: The Heineken Know The Signs website is a slick interactive website that takes you into a bar where you can click on people who are showing the signs of having drank one too many. For low bandwidth users: there are links to some funny youtube videos. This is a fun site to check out before going out, so you can be alert for the signs!
