On the DailySkew Radio Podcast, Tony Vahl discussed what he learned while watching morning news and listening to sports talk radio:

- A silver flying saucer balloon was flying around Colorado. Apparently, people thought a boy was in the jiffy pop balloon, but it turned out he was stashed in the garage "for the show." The family was on ABC's Wife Swap.

- Joe Torre was criticized for leaving his starter in the game in the fifth inning of the Dodgers loss to the Phillies, even though he's been criticized in the past for having a quick hook. The talk show hosts even mentioned this, and still criticized him.

  1. I agree with you on the differences between SKYPE and TalkShoe. SKYPE is wonderful when I am watching my grandchildren open Christmas presents or talk to them, but in a class it is really irrating when there are too many students because it drops people and is noisy when they come back on. TalkShoe works smoother and you can save lessons for those students who are absent. This project would really be exciting for the students in your class.
