First, we donated some excess Medical Supplies to Haitian earthquake relief cause, including IV kits, surgical gloves, alcohol wipes, xoponex, and other stuff. I guess this is one case where our son’s illness led us to being able to donate special supplies during Haiti’s time of extraordinary need.

Here’s what I learned this mid-morning listening to talk radio:
Glenn Beck- One of the big reasons the Jay Leno show failed was because Hollywood Actors were ordered not to go on his show, basically. The Unions felt that by supporting his show, they would be killing 10pm TV shows across all the major networks.

What I, uh, learned while listening to Glenn Beck:
- I guess Glenn Beck took his family to a Caribean island. While there, one of his children got sick:– the hospital there had goats and chickens in the waiting area– tylenol was available by prescription only– they had nerve tonic and other elixers on sale

Things I learned while listening to various podcasts today:
- the U.S. and Britain are closing their embassies in Yemen
- Some dude bypassed airport security in Newark by walking through exit area; flights were delayed for hours as passengers had to be rescreened

Walter E. Williams (my favorite guest-host of all time) is subbing for Rush Limbaugh today. He reported that Rush, who had chest pains yesterday in Honolulu and was hospitalized, is resting comfortably. The chest pains might be a precursor to a heart attack, but it is unknown if Limbaugh actually had a heart
