Glenn Beck, Pat Robertson, Haiti

Just a quick note to Glenn Beck — could you please wait a week or two before talking about how the Governments of the world will misspend funds to help rebuild Haiti?

Holy cow, jerk. People are buried under rubble, and you're talking about it like it's a line item on your balance sheet. Guess you can't shed a tear for a nation of people suffering in our hemisphere? Are you that numb and desensitized? Answer: yes.

Gee, we really need more Sarah Palin worship this morning. Wonderful.

Side-note: my wife kind of defended Pat Robertson, saying pure Voo Doo is all about using the occult to harm others and gain power/wealth for yourself. She also said there's another form of Voo Doo that is mixed with Catholicism (Santarea?) and is used for good, but it's still occult practices.

She also agreed that the timing of Robertson's comments were inappropriate. She understood my point of view as well.

Glenn Beck Breakdown

I know that the name Glenn Beck has become a trigger for some readers in this audience for tuning out and getting angry, but here goes:

I have heard him cry about America and snap at two callers: one who said he was not attacking Obama enough(!), and a former alcoholic who said Americans basically forgive Obama for his past associations.

He continues to bring up his associations with Acorn, Rezco, Ayers … Pointing out how Palin is getting ripped on the Internet and no one is accusing Obama suoporters of sexism … That Obama is basically a Robin Hood Marxist….

Now, let me state what some readers affected by the Glenn Beck trigger have actually read: “Evil Republicans.”

Damn.

Glenn Beck praises the Dark Knight

Just listened to Glenn Beck praise the Dark Knight. How ironic that conservatives are praising a comic book movie, considering how comics were nearly destroyed by a previous generation of politicians.
